The Monkey 2025
I went into this movie just completely blind, not knowing a single thing about it except it’s a story by Stephen King.
But HOLY MOLY I enjoyed this movie!! It was SO unexpectedly hilarious and had great insights to generational trauma and death. I loved how it leaned into the ridiculousness and unseriousness of itself. There’s also some fun cameos in it!
Is it absolute art? Nah. But if you’re looking for a fun movie this is it :)

I walked out of the theater SOOO annoyed I could’ve watched anything else. Literally a movie about nothing but the obvious, as deep as the title “we live in time.” This movie made me go “yeah okay and???”
