Inside Man 2006
Damn Spike Lee directed this? One of those movies that was /way/ better when I saw it at 12 years old. Very cool and creative heist setup, but man the dialogue was kinda cringe. Also some extremely heavy-handed copaganda, although it was pretty close to 9/11 so maybe that’s expected. Denzel Washington was, as ever, the best part.

2.5+hr movie that feels simultaneously like they crammed too much plot into it and they didn’t give the scenes enough room to breath. Whole settings and plot points pass in a minute or two. Cool story though. Don’t envy the editor. Man Denzel Washington rules in this.
