  I’ve loved this movie ever since I was little and saw it for the first time with my mom. She’s introduced me to a lot of great films throughout my childhood, but Hairspray really stuck with me. I’m not sure if it was the memories of watching with my mom, the soundtrack, the 60s fashion, the lighthearted but meaningful storyline, or the fact that Zac Efron was the male lead.
