  I appreciated the humor, but found it pretty lackluster. It especially falls short of the high praise and “insane”-ness. Definitely creepy, but no more “messed up” than any other generic horror film.

  Even after thumbing through all of the bad reviews for Suicide Squad, I genuinely enjoyed it from start to end. Is it true the first act is all exposition? Sure. Were there pacing problems throughout? Definitely. But this movie was fun and a solid testament to all of the characters. If you nit-pick this one then you're seriously just trying to find everything wrong with it and not enjoying it for what it is. It's funny, it's got great action, you actually care about the characters... That's a win in my book.
