Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack 1988
Superb sense of movement and kineticism, popping visuals in this HD remaster, and a solid auditory and scoring experience. There's such an immense sense of culture and history in Gundam, both in its own lore and in addressing Japan's history. Experiencing it in a theater was an honor.

Plot, story, and character development are nearly non-existent, but what's there still works and most importantly: has a ton of heart.
