This film is a spectacle. It tells the story of extreme greed and shows the dangers of capitalism and excess of wealth. We see Daniel Plainview’s rise on his way to becoming a rich oilman in the early 1900s, and eventually his fall. It’s symbolic to see Daniel alone in the end, drunk in his large house with no one to share it with, all of his family and friends cast from his life.

Daniel Day-Lewis gives on the best best performances of all time. He slips into the character of Daniel Plainview so naturally, it makes you think if he’s an oilman in real life.

The Wolf of Wall Street is a very entertaining movie. I understand some of the criticism it receives, but I honestly love it. It’s easy for me to look past that and just enjoy the absolute madness that is thrown onto the screen. Despite being 3 hours long, it keeps you entertained from start to finish. All and all, this movie is awesome, super fun and an absolute master class out of Martin Scorsese.

This is probably Leo’s best performance to date and he should’ve won an Oscar for this. He slipped into character so effortlessly and put on a spectacle for viewers to behold.

"When you're facing a loaded gun, what's the difference?"

10 minutes into Martin Scorsese's 'The Departed' and you become hooked instantly. The prologue's pure 'Goodfellas' and it's this angle, Scorsese's remarried to the mob! This in my eyes is the best crime epic of the 2000s , everything great about Scorsese's filmmaking is perfected here. It's baffling to me how Marty was able to create another unique and original mob film for fans.
