  It was passable and fun to a certain extent. With a better casting, it would have been so much better I guess. Only mathew thomas had some moments here and there, rest all were terrible. Liked 'Yedi' song so much which was the main reason I started watching this film. Lazy writing and directing from D.

  Typical atlee film that doesn't offered nothing new to me. Most of the scenes were predictable and some scenes were taken from atlee's previous films too. Atlee was known for his emotional flashback, this movie had like three flashbacks but none of them connected emotionally. Feeded with so many social / political issues that we have already seen in so many tamil films. Songs were placed badly and they were average to hear as well. Saving part were Srk, Ani's…

  Despite being a star film, this film was true to its genre in most of the parts. The ending was bit odd, except that a solid mystery thriller with good technical aspects. Ajith looked good on screen and performed better after so long. Gutsy move from him to do a film where he is vulnerable and get bullied in most of the parts. Ajith should do one more film with magizh with magizh's own script .
