Bill Gates is NOT the villain of this story.
It seems obvious that Bill had no intention for the asteroid chip to malfunction (head in his hands, sigh of disbelief, wanting things to be different/back to the way they were). He was shocked to find out that they were all going to die. Whether or not his remorse was all just for show is up for the audience to decide, I suppose. For me, I think his despair is genuine.…

A fewww days late with this review—was hoping I’d have an epiphany of some sort about any aspects of the characters/plot but I haven’t! Maybe I just have poor taste or need to rewatch, but this one didn’t hit home in the ways I would’ve thought it would. Mikey Madison is stunning, though, and so fun to watch. Rich people scare meeee
