    For the longest time, I thought that this movie and Saturday Night Fever were very similar vibes. Having watched Boogie Nights now, I can wholeheartedly say that that is NOT THE CASE. One has John Travolta and the other has Marky Mark. Clearly different.     Feels like an artsy experimental student film but one that genuinely hits home with me. Pokes fun at its own pretentiousness at times. Evokes raw emotion (good and bad) from both its subject and viewer. I genuinely consider Bo Burnham to be one of the most unique comedic artists I’ve ever seen. His surreal and silly humor is always backed by deep thought and intelligence.

    If Bo Burnham ever makes a musical, it will be my favorite musical ever, calling it now...
