One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 1975
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
this whole movie i kept thinking back to erving goffmans concept of a total institution, and i think this movie is a really good depiction of one, and what can happen when social control strips away autonomy and self determination. i love how they were able to come together in their pursuit of freedom, but unfortunately the oppressive system won in the end. really enjoyed this movie (also love sociology!)
