It's such a good film. It's some of Matthew Libatique's best work. The shot of the blue and red rags tied together in the LA riots is unbelievably poweful, and the score is incredible. It's not just NWA and its members, but other legends of the time like Wu-Tang Clan and Tha Dogg Pound.

Honestly better than I thought it'd be. Pretty funny film. Never thought I'd see Robin Williams and Gene Hackman in a film together, and I never thought I'd see Gene Hackman in drag. RIP to two absoloute legends of cinema.

In the first half, I got the impression that the aim was the retelling of an epic norse legend, shrouded in darkness, magic and treachery, but it wasn't quite hitting the mark.
