  Some cool visuals, a few interesting bits of commentary on celebrity idolatry, but in the end felt half-baked.

  Ayo Edebiri gives a solid performance, but it didn’t make up for the fact that most of the film was just her walking around going , “Isn’t this weird?” while some weird stuff happens. Would love to see her in a role that isn’t a fish out of water since that seems to be where she’s getting typecast.

  Not the follow up I was hoping from Bong. Great concept, but really fell flat in the execution.

  Lots of interesting setup with either no payoff or payoff so lackluster, it might as well have been none.

  On January 11, 2021 I got an email from an old colleague asking if I was available to work on a story reel for a feature film by cutting together some storyboards to music. The film, I was told was going to be Michael Gracey’s next project and had a weird twist for a biopic… it was going to star a chimp as the main character.

  What was supposed to be a couple weeks of work turned into nearly half…
