  Movies don’t really make me cry. I can really only think of 3 that have. Ikiru, however, is a film that has moved me to tears just thinking about it even months after my first watch. To say this is my favorite film is an understatement. Heartbreaking, thoughtful and timeless. Incredibly moving and profound.
