Big dick is back in town. Nosferatu brings us one of the most complete vampire/Dracula retellings. This movie brings you all of the iconic vampire iconography in the most effect way I may have ever seen. The first 20-30 minutes are flawless, every frame is a painting. Don’t let the B&W and film grain filter fool you, this is still a Marvel product. It’s got the mood-killing quippy dialogue that comes standard issue. The super-powered action sequences lack weight or stakes. It makes an homage to the classic Universal monster movies without replicating what made those special, but at least they tried.
