Walkabout 1971
It’s genuinely hard to imagine that communities in these deserts actually exist and aren’t just a fairytale we can only dream of, Walkabout enlightens us of this and takes us on a very wholesome adventure with some outstanding stills. What really gives this film ambiguity is how not a single character’s name is discovered or even stated in the credits, nor their personality as a result of the script being simple and brief.
