Decided to watch my first John Waters film after seeing his "No smoking in the theatre...but smoke anyway because it gives ushers jobs" PSA. Maybe this caught me at the right time or maybe I just love Johnny Depp; either way such a fun film that is so over the top it can't possibly be taken seriously.

Something is wrong with me. No matter how many phenomenal films I watch I always come back to these 90s romcoms.... anyway, nothing groundbreaking but still worthy enough in my eyes to immediately start it over for ambience. All the neighborhood kids getting their pictures out at the outfield wall🙂🙂 what a nice decent guy
Criterion Channel - NYC Love Stories
I'm sorry but this just did not work for me. Eleanor is the most ridiculously dramatic character I have ever seen, and her presence on screen ruined anything about The Haunting that I could have enjoyed. A shame considering how amazing this film looks.
