The Substance 2024
Unsettling dive into how body dismorphia and negative perceptions of oneself can become toxic and lead to harming yourself on the outside and the inside.
Some really grim scenes, the effects (not sure practical or not) were great.
Loved the premise and setup but the movie felt like it fell flat going into the final third of the runtime, becoming a little confusing and disorderly.

An eerie and atmospheric take on the classic story of dracula. Great feelings of jeopardy and danger for the main cast, sold by some really outstanding performances probably topped by the leading woman Lily-Rose Depp. Nosferatu themselves kept their menace throughout the whole film, feeling like an unnatural force of dread that couldn’t be stopped.
