  Such a hilarious coming of age film. It was interesting how it branched to each of the main characters' development and then put them all together. Definitely some huge "pause" moments in this film.

  CGI was cheesy for 2022 standards, but the soundtrack made up for that and the acting was amazing from the main protagonists. Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker interpretation isn’t my favorite, but his Spider-Man acting is decent, way better than Tom Holland.

  Also, this whole movie is a Dr Pepper ad. Change my mind.

  Second watch through, was able to realize that the plot doesn’t BS at all. There’s nothing unnecessary or gimmicky about the story in my personal opinion, so I’ve come to really appreciate the writing.

  The camera shots and angles too are some of the best I’ve seen yet. The way the different instruments are portrayed with different angles gives them their due personality along with the incredible soundtrack.

  Jazz freaking rules.

  First of all, James Wan is a horror genius. Everything about this movie is what you want in a classic horror film. Most of his movies have something to do with some sort of haunted house aspect and I’m glad that this movie took that premise and was able to branch away from it. The concept of astral behavior was very interesting and although it isn’t my favorite Wan storyline, it makes total sense with the plot of the movie.…
