My favourite type of film executed to perfection. Pure emotions throughout the entire viewing which was boosted by seriously Oscar worthy performances from both of the leads, especially Florence Pugh. I did also appreciate the subtle and metaphoric death of Almut, reminded me somewhat of Calum’s death in Aftersun.
It does feel strange to say I thoroughly enjoys such a deeply saddening film, due to it being such a challenging task to pull off. But I can confidently say I really did and for that reason it gets five stars for me.
