Tropic Thunder 2008
As a combat veteran who served 3 tours in Vietnam. I can confidently say that this film is one of the most accurate portrayals of war that I’ve seen.
The method acting from Downey Jr moved me to tears. He fully embraced this role and all veterans should feel indebted to him for representing us in such a positive light.
I’m a proud American today.

I watched this movie and got soooo scared.
I was home all alone like a big boy and it was such a big mistake because I was so scared after.
I didn’t sleep for 18 days after I watched this movie.
I was finally able to fall asleep on the 19th night but then the next day I read an article that said this movie was based on a true story.

Shrek, Shrek, Shrek….oh where do I begin?
This film is an incredible piece of cinema. The acting, the directing, the score, the cinematography, and even the costume design are legitimately flawless. It’s a perfect film.
The fact that they did not use CGI, AI or any animation is breathtaking. The talking donkey not being the runaway winner for best supporting actor really embodies everything wrong with the academy. It still makes me sick to this day.

Mikey Madison is VERY talented. She’s also a great actress apparently.
The hype on this movie is well deserved. It kind of creates the same anxiety that Uncunt Gems did for me, but a much better movie overall.
Definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen in the last few years.
Lastly, I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned how *talented* Mikey Madison is yet.
But yeah, cool film.
