I was initially skeptical it was going to be a slow paced film about two super skilled agents falling in love. Much to my delight it was very well paced. It transitions seamlessly from an engaging and unique forbidden love story to a gritty horror/thriller. I was worried it would have a tragic “horror unleashed ending like 2017’s Life. I am a sucker for happy endings and I was glad to be given one in this film. This is now my favorite movie ever.

Dev Patel’s movie delivers on its promise of an Indian John Wick. Full of intense, visceral action and beautiful story beats it leaves me wondering what Patel will do next. There were times the pacing felt a little slow or something felt cheesy but it was a good watch.
