  It took me two views to truly understand and appreciate the brilliance of this movie. Much like its predecessor, it’s a slow burn. It’s a long movie, and the slow pace is noticeable. But every frame of it is given so much design and is dripping with so much detail it is like nothing else I’ve seen in a theater in a very long time. Unfortunate that it is also one of the year’s biggest flops. I expect it will at the very least clean up the technical categories come awards season.
