I like this movie and I dislike it.
As a film, it’s great. Fantastic score, great writing, great pacing, great actors.
I dislike the focus on O’Neal. I think it’s an interesting decision and it’s definitely a provocative choice to frame the narrative around him. Specifically, I think this story should’ve centered more around Chairman Fred, the Chicago BPP, and the more non militant stuff they did, the stuff the Chairman worked his ass off and gave his life for.…
