I cannot, in good faith, call this movie good or bad. It’s something beyond that binary. It is terrifying. In 5 years the most annoying guy you know will call it misunderstood genius; but for right now, I’m calling it…necessary.

Sauurrrrrrr much to love here. I love a monstrous vampire, a wraith who connives and conspires, and compels affection through dark magics. The costuming and casting in particular was so well done, the main cast all looked so gaunt and their faces so jagged and treacherous, and the extras in Transylvania were wonderfully “not-Hollywood”.
