Third time to watch this one, this time in Eye in Amsterdam, with four (!) other people in a large room that had an annoying stench of deep fried food.
Fascinating movie, not so much scary visually but definitely scary thematically. Some of the acting looked more wooden than I remembered, but thoroughly enjoyed seeing this on a big screen.
Overly long movies are the rule rather than the exception these days. Most are mediocre at best. “Close Your Eyes” was long yet resonated with me.
Víctor Erice knows his stuff, alright?

My favorite short movie ever made, and on some days my favorite movie period. It has amazing characters, stunning dialogue, great surreal humor and a beautiful audio track. Am not going to describe the plot, if there is one -- just watch this. And rewatch it, like I did.
