Moonwalkin’ RIP Stanley Kubrick
-Changing my favorites based off current moods.
Been lingering on this classic for about a week and wow man. A brilliant tale of how not even love can escape the parameters of war. Shot insanely well for the 40s and does the damn thing aesthetically. I understand why this is so revered what an iconic flick.
Scorcese + De Niro + DiCaprio
There’s no way that this couldn’t have been a masterpiece.
Im honestly still speechless this story was so heartbreaking and endearing. A big fuck you to capitalism. I still cant find all the words right now but what a fucking film. Full review coming soon.
Uhhhhh idk chief. It wasn’t bad but it’s a fucking lot. Was that last scene needed?? What I did appreciate was the performances and cinematography. The twist was a little predictable but surprising nevertheless. This is a lot to unpack but I need to sit on this one lol.
Update: More thoughts…
The first act of this was actually pretty good but then it got so fucking weird. I wanted to like it more but couldn’t. It’s simply too much…
