Saw in theaters. This was sooo fun. A satire, sci-fi blockbuster that nobody was expecting after Parasite. My only gripe is they really should’ve powwowed in that editors room a lil longer because there was no reason for this to drag on and on and on. Shout out to the La Pieta reference by the way and that Challengers-ish scene; I damn near foamed at the mouth.

Moonlight 2016
First time rewatching in yearsss. And in imax no less!! I cried so many times. There is something so moving about having the most intimate, awkward, taboo parts of yourself—the pieces however large that we try to tuck away—be reflected back to you with sincere, poetic care. I’m so happy this movie exists the way it does. It meant a lot to me as a teenager and maybe even more now as an adult.
