What Time Is It There? 2001
Tsai Ming-liang is slowly becoming my favorite director. either that or the one i’m most influenced and inspired by. I’ve only seen this and Vive L’amour but the way he can capture sadness and yearning and love and lust and despair and grief in all its essence with little to no dialogue is incredible. The actors obviously have a lot to do with that, Lee Kang-sheng is as fantastic as he always is. you either get it or you don’t and this shit mean the world to me.
