    I could spend time writing about the themes I identified in this film including forbidden love, intimacy, and the longing for connection that comes with leaving your hometown for the a big city full of dreams.

    However I think most of these themes can be summarized in one of my favorite lines: “I am sending you kisses through the clouds, so that when it rains, they touch your lips”.

    More broadly, I believe we are in a seemingly resurgent period…
