    I'm Still Here

    Recently, I've been having a real moral dispute with myself regarding how I feel about rating films. After seeing "I'm Still Here" it feels so reductive to rate it anything. It's an astonishing piece of art that moved and broke me. I understand rating a movie on enjoyment levels rather than technicalities but I can't do it when a film is this personal and this affecting.

    I need more films that tell stories like this.

    Yeah, I just love everything about this. The writing of the dialogue in particular is so good and they perform it perfectly. I love the whole Raymond Chandler-esque convoluted storyline way to parody a noir. It's just so clever.
