When I was 18 I made a 40 minute film over the summer holidays about a pirate radio station that pivots towards reckless goals once the teenage DJs realise that’s their best bet at getting an audience. It’s not very good, terrible really, but it helped get me a job once and its story is comprehensible so I’m quietly proud of it given we made it for about £5.
I had never heard of or seen Network at the time of making that film, and I so wish I had. This was spectacular.
