For all its hype, this ended up being quite a disappointment. While technically impressive, the single-shot episodes constrain the story to such a degree that the whole thing becomes unrealistic and disjointed. The subject matter is weighty and deserves much more attention than Adolesence’s shallow exploration culminating in the aimless call to ‘do better’.
