The Police Serve the Citizens? 1973
One of the most powerful Poliziotteschi I've seen over the years, in terms of its attempt at providing a social commentary.
And surprisingly, it is a relatively unknown one.
It really succeeds at portraying an accurate vision of what corruption in society actually means, the higher levels of it that is.

Night Game 1989

A pretty lame serial killer thriller that kind of reminded me of Ace Ventura Pet Detective. LOL.
Maybe it was the sports angle, but either way even that movie's mystery plot was better developed than this, I think. Which says a lot about this stinker.
This movie spends a shit load of its shitty time having its people bickering and bellyaching and yapping and babbling nonsense, with some killings going on in between.

Madeline, Study of a Nightmare 1974
I loved this one.
An incredible psychological thriller, (one of the 70s' best in that category,) which really excels at providing a visual equivalent to the subconscional struggles of a woman going through a serious mental crisis.
The lucidity of the course of events (e.g. that great cross-editing of race track incident and boat-ride,) the super moody feel overarching the entire movie, the parallels drawn with the liberation culture of the 70s, or the spiritual cults making the headlines back…Translated from by -

This turned out to be one of my favorite Jidaigeki.
The humane core of the story is just so touching, and heartwarming.
