    Such a banger.

Genuinely impressive that such a long movie with so much filler footage (Long driving shots, long tricycle shots, long shots of Jack doing anything but writing) is so gripping and engaging.

As I've said in other reviews, this one feels like a massive ticking time bomb. Even knowing as much as we do from pop culture, this is still incredibly exciting as we see the mental degradation of Jack Torrence, all the while knowing where his anger…

It's hard to describe Spit without sounding cynical.

At it's core, it is a reinforcement of the Australian stereotypes that have plagued our country for decades, since Crocodile Dundee. John Spiteri is an idiot. He's shortsighted, stubborn, difficult and refuses to be anywhere without a sturdy pair of stolen double pluggers.

Such a fun game of cat and mouse from the king of the genre, Soderbergh does it again here.

Every actor nails the shifty, untrustworthy nature of a trio of couples working at the CIA and how their relationships work for and against the knowledge that could bring down countless lives.

The story moves fast, but not so much that it’s nonsensical and the tension keeps from moment to moment.

An exciting spy thriller that’s hard to talk about without giving the game away. Definitely worth the watch.

    Spider-Man 2

    ★★★★★

Just as seeing the first one on screen again was something special, I loved seeing this foundational part of my soul back in cinemas.

Every musical cue, incredibly written line, remarkable piece of cinematography and lighting all come together to form something that hasn’t been replicated in live action since. This one sells the evolution of Spider-Man from the first film by asking the simple question of: what about Peter Parker?

Spider-Man taking the front seat leads to Peter’s downfall…
