Honestly, this one gets worse with each rewatch (still love the first one). Easily Vaughn's biggest misfire to date. "Argylle" is MUCH better than this mess.

Shame the kid's annoying and the film is poorly edited because this could have been great had the studio not (foolishly) rushed into the theaters to compete against Jurassic Park. I read somewhere that McTiernan was literally editing days before release. Still, the film gets by on good will and enough clever ideas that you don't look too closely at the seams.

It's good, but fans of De Palma should go into it with tempered expectations as you're not going to learn anything new. That said, as a fan, it's nice to see him getting some long deserved recognition. The entire film is literally him speaking briefly about each of his films. No other voice is heard, unless it's a film clip.
