I had to take a 5-minute break in the middle of this film to cool off. The idea that Luke Skywalker, who believed (correctly) that Darth Vader of all people could be redeemed, would straight up attempt to kill HIS OWN NEPHEW based on a vague vision of a potential future is completely insane. People act on fear and instinct at times, sure, but to completely abandon Luke's character like that feels ridiculous and unnecessary. None of the OT characters…
