Greg was right :(  felt a little too disconnected to be the ending of a trilogy as well, at least the other symbioses were really fun to see

as the third alien movie I’ve seen I’d say this was fun, I love a weird sci-fi planet exploration movie. There was a lot of stuff I was very confused by, but I was unfortunately fully engaged as well so points for that.  fully convinced to watch all the alien movies now, which I was planning on doing anyway but this sealed it. 

Xenomorphs RULE in this one :) hope for more weird kissing in the future :)

If godzillas design was better this would be a 5 star film hands down but that big lizard took me out too many times to not say anything 

Shikishimas story of coming into himself and having to accept life was super compelling even if a little overstated sometimes

actually deeply devastated to have missed this movie in theaters. The animation was gorgeous, the music was incredible, and the story of the dog king and biwa player finding themselves through their bond was lovely. Also and mostly, fuck the shogun and that one dad :)
