  Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021

  Even though it does threaten to buckle under its premise, somehow, the movie manages to impress and balance a stellar cast with a lot of heart and soul while still managing to deliver the standard Marvel fare of crowd-pleasing moments of stupendor and surprise, while honoring past films and a little tease of what else there is to come.

  Eternals 2021

  Despite the talent on display here and the boldness to showcase some of the most obscure characters in the Marvel Comics canon (seriously, only the ultra nerds would know who the Eternals are), it's bogged down by a long run time, bland characters and just nothing much going on. Not since the release of Iron Fist, Defenders and Inhumans has anything felt really bland under the Marvel banner.
