hopeful i can be the tallest man on earth pray for me???
(pfp from OneShot)
It was nice when the movie respected my time and my ears. And then it halted to the stillness of a soap opera from the Dinner scene onwards. Without saying any spoilers, there were 3ish enjoyable characters, and then there was everyone else. So promising, but with Poor Things and Severance and The Substance to compare to, it fell a little flat
Future film-makers, If you include a noise in your movie that is supposed to be really loud and annoying, maybe think about how an audience would enjoy that?!
a few small things kept it from a 5, like the pacing on the back end and Eden's mannerisms, also I wish I saw this before I saw The Bank.
So much to love about this, fully understand it's status as a classic.
