Watched on plane on way back from Naples and Ischia: As with Saltburn I loved this movie until things started getting scary and wrong. Fashion is immaculate and Gwenyth Paltrow is an icon.

Fantastic film! Watched it to cleanse the sins of all the trash I have watched recently and it didn’t disappoint. It was incredibly moving and a really poignant depiction of love and relationships: the good, the bad and the ugly.

This was so like?? Bleugh and boring?? Should have loved it because it’s literally a film about y2k fashion, but the acting was SO bad and I literally couldn’t have cared less about any of the characters. Also how are they robbing all this stuff and dressing so badly? It’s just not realistic. I do think this has potential for a really good remake as a HBO euphoria style series.

4 stars because objectively a good film and I loveddddddddddd the first 3/4 especially jacob elordi, but found the last 1/4 too stressful and creepy - probs wouldn’t watch again
