  Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937

  I know this changed cinema history and animation would be nothing without this movie… but it isn’t perfect 

  For 1- it’s called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs yet we only really pay attention to 2 of them (3 if ur really stretching). Like tell me what Bashful does? Or sleepy.

  2 - the prince says 1 line to her and he’s suddenly her true love? Like I’m not surprised in later instalments they pay more attention to the huntsman…

  On a rewatch it clicked for me

  Putting aside the fact I miss hearing the Scottish accent and that line where Calum says something on the lines of ‘when u move away your home no longer accepts you’ (I majorly buggered that) which hits entirely too home, putting beside everything about this film that is so personal to me, this film is fantastic 

  Probably the best directorial debut I’ve seen this century, and she’s Scottish 👏👏👏👏
