  the most believable dystopian film I’ve watched, watching this for the first time in 2025 and it doesn’t even feel far fetched whatsoever and that’s like a punch to the face. The fact they all see what the world’s been longing for at the end and it’s all of 30 seconds before they start murdering eachother again after is so bleak. Amazing film.

  watched after watching the 2nd one first and Christ this is so much better. Real use of practical effects. Way better script. Amazing score from hans zimmer. Made me realise how many scene ideas for the sequel were just copied and pasted from this one lmao
