Touch of Evil 1958
oh man what a film!! Was never really into 20th century noirs, but it was probably because I wasn’t watching the right ones. Thoroughly enjoyed this from the cinematography to the compelling acting, Orson Welles as the creepy, kinda smooth talking rogue cop was very snazzy I must admit.
A lot of people are comparing this to Citizen Kane, so obviously I’m gonna have to watch that pretty soon.

This may not have been the best film to break my going to the cinema by myself virginity with because YAOW!! bro the amount of stress this film caused me to the point where I was physically shaking was insane.
Zoe Kravitz did her big one with this film wow, the fact that THIS was her directorial debut only makes me so incredibly excited for what else she has in store. I do think it’d be kinda cool for her…
