  ummmm… the effects were cool.
  dry ass characters, decent writing, occasionally some neat gory bits.
  I’m sure this was a lot more sensational at the time of it’s release but ultimately lacks the style AND substance that feels necessary for the whole “pain and pleasure” theme and leaves me wanting more.
  I guess the plot was alright…
  I dunno man, just watch John Carpenter’s The Fly instead. A lot more satisfying and scary in the long run.
