Crying in the cinema at Bridget Jones was not on my 2025 bingo card but that was so emotional and moving. Though plenty of laughs as well.

Renee Zellwegger’s performance was exceptional, with a much more in-depth portrayal of the character. I hope her calling Leo Woodall Roxie was a deliberate Chicago reference.

When the aforementioned Woodall jumped in the pool and got his shirt wet my Mum went “OOOH!”

This was a BIG step up from the second one. It was genuinely emotional and had a very unexpected ending. A perfect (hopefully final) instalment in this franchise. Just not enough Mater.

That was absolutely everything and so much more. An absolutely incredible perfect ending. An emotional rollercoaster, tears and so many laughs. This has gotta be the best British sitcom ever. I’m rambling now but that was just the best thing ever.

My only quibble is that Deano didn’t return and Bryn didn’t sing properly but overall, a perfect ending to a perfect show. Tidy.

I’d forgotten how insanely genius and impressive these films are. I love stop-motion. I love Aardman. And I love Wallace and Gromit.

What better way to tackle the themes of AI and technology? And the puns are brilliant. The whole thing’s just flawless.
