  Awful message. I guess we should also burn all the wheelchairs and crutches, so that the paraplegic community can experience life more "authentically".

  There's literally no reason why we can't have perfect artificial ears in future, but there will always be early adopters.

  We wouldn't be where we're at now with bionic limbs or stem cell use to regrow limbs if we hadn't first stuck wheels on a chair. There's a direct linear relationship.
