  Rewatch with my 15 year old son who is a Nolan fan. Heath Ledger is remarkable. We both commented on Bale's ridiculous cadence when he was being BATMAN. He seemed to tone it down a bit in the subsequent film.

  Not sure what I was expecting as I'm not familiar with Emerald Fennell's work and just know that's she's vair vair posh etc. But I'll watch anything at all that Barry Keoghan is in, the little weirdo. Eat the rich.

  Virtually no dialogue, but totally captivating. A bit like a very creepy Mindfulness session. Which is a very flippant remark, it's incredibly disturbing actually.

  This film seems to have got a lot of hate in certain places. Is it original? Not hugely. A bit derivative blah blah. Is it stunningly beautiful and emotionally affecting? Yes, and that's good enough for me. I will also add it to a list of films I would happily rewatch.
