  To keep it a stack, I watched this on the plane and dozed through the second act, catching bits and pieces of the puzzle through the intermittent cracks in my eyelids. That said, Chinatown was some good crap from what I can tell. The idea that “Chinatown” is a place that exists within itself and will only be screwed up further by outside interference is interesting when applied to the crime world, especially in the case of the film’s Oedipal circumstance. Plus, Chinatown will be featured on a cigarette smoker’s moodboard until we reach infinity. Much to consider!

  Babygirl was interesting enough to have fun watching with my gf, but if I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t watch this crap by myself. Predictable, horny film with stupid dialogue and an even stupider lead; NK is always casted in these roles, and at this point, one must ask, “Why?”
