It was so-so. Biggest pluses costume and production design, nostalgia, margot Robbie and Ryan gosling. I felt it was let down by script. Hollywood and subtlety are not synonymous as this film amply demonstrates
This movie was so impressive. As someone who's lived through the chaos and pain of the severely addicted the movie rang true from opening to closing shot. The director/ actor dedicated it to his family; I dedicate it to my now deceased first boyfriend with a tear.
