Fences was crazy, all i learned was that we took the bad with the good a LOT pre civil rights movement, and where some of our trauma as black Americans comes from. fuck Denzel’s character 😭. This was a very dramatic movie, i loved Viola Davis and Denzel here, Viola cried her ass off snot n all !! “ Well I’ve been standing with you!” Yeah she won her oscar ✨

Its not super dramatic but it captured some of the essence of black romance and i fucked with that! The spoken word poetry he did for her in the beginning was super horny.
Movie made me think about how different (atleast compared to this movie) guys approached women, it’s possible the movie could have been representing it bad at the time, but it made sense for it to be that way in the 20th century. You never really knew when you would cross paths again with people, this thought kind of fades as the future goes on.

Deadpool 2016
The movie had moments where it made me laugh, i liked Deadpool’s silly and vulgar humor i guess. I did watch with the expectation of it being a more serious superhero movie but it was still enjoyable. I also just dont know the lore of Deadpool so maybe i missed some references.
